Vroom Vroom!!!

We have a car! Praise God!
Today we went to Masatepe to pick up our very own car. This is very exciting news to us. Our friends Victor and Angela contacted us yesterday and asked us if we were interested in renting their extra car (the car that Rip drives when he's here in Nicaragua). As you can imagine, we said yes. We made a deal and we will now be able to afford to have a car until Rip comes back to Nicaragua in the beginning of August. This was definitely an answered prayer for us. We spent this entire week being driven by our wonderful friend Enrique and we were very grateful for that. Spending $30 a day to be driven, though, was going to get a bit expensive. We really prayed about this situation and when Angela offered us the car, we knew God was opening a door for us (a car door, that is).

Angela came to our house around 2:00 this afternoon and drove us to her home in Masatepe about 40 minutes away. We ate lunch with her and got to spend some time with her family. We also got to visit La Finca where Priscilla would be staying if she takes the teaching position in the fall. It is a beautiful little house surrounded by palm trees and coffee plants. It looks like it's straight out of a fairy tale book. When Angela's husband Victor came home he set down the keys to the car on the kitchen table and we jumped for joy. We are now free to drive wherever and whenever we want. It is great!!! Thanks for all of your continual prayers, we love you all!

I am today what yesterday has made me; tomorrow I shall be changed by today's experiences.
xoxo
