Delanie served the Lord by cutting the hair of five women at this hospital. It was a challenge for a moment or two but she did it and they loved her talent. Delanie felt great about making these women feel good about themselves inside and out. It was great for Margaret and Priscilla to help her out by translating and being her "assistants" again while she did God's work.
Becky, a woman who works at La Iglesia de Fe, Esperanza, y Amor told Priscilla today that when she first saw her, she knew she would be the teacher the school was in need of. She told her that she had been observing her and saw that she fit in well with the school and environment and she felt that God was speaking to her about this teaching position in the fall. Please pray for Priscilla and this opportunity that is being given to her as she is struggling to make this tough decision. But man, how God speaks through His people and works in such wonderful and mysterious ways!
Margaret went to the store during the day and purchased a much needed stove for the women's cancer ward and they were extremely grateful for this act. As soon as Margaret found out their stove was out she didn't think twice and got in the car to get them a new one. God has been working through Margaret in such beautiful ways and she is excited about how the Lord has been showing himself to here in the past couple of weeks.
We ended the trip at the hospital by visiting the neonatal section inside the main wing. These babies were tiny but fighting bravely for their lives and it was very touching to see God's beautiful creatures being taken care of by wonderful doctors and nurses.
We came home and made pasta and reflected on the week with Rip. He is leaving at four in the morning and we made sure to thank him for opening all the doors we needed to be opened for us here in Nicaragua. We feel like our dad is leaving his little birds alone because they are ready to fly on their own! Pray for his flight home and blessings on him and his family for all that he does here in this beautiful country.
I am today what yesterday has made me; tomorrow I shall be changed by today's experiences.
xoxo
Priscilla and Delanie
