Busy Busy Busy

Today was a busy, busy day! We started off by going to Masatepe in the morning to finish our haircuts. We got there at 11:00 and Delanie worked her butt off to accomplish the three teachers left. They were very happy with their do's and we got to spend some quality time with the staff from the church/school. Delanie felt great to finally be done with this mission here at El Centro De Fe, Esperanza, Y Amor.

After driving back home from Masatepe for 40 minutes in the rain we decided to go on an adventure. We really wanted to go to the market and pick out a present for Delanie's sister, Freydel. We have been to several different markets here in Nicaragua but never really payed attention to where there exact locations are. We made a phone call to our friend Isbel and after getting vague directions we took off. Low and behold, we found the market! We were very proud of this and felt like real Nicaraguans. We spent a couple of hours shopping for Freydel's present among other things. The market is always a fun yet exhausting trip but we are glad we went.

By the time we got home from our busy day we wanted to just unwind. Too bad that was not possible! We made plans to "eat dinner" with our families through skype and had to rush to figure out what we were going to eat. After two failing attempts to order a pizza Delanie cooked chili dogs and we finally got to enjoy our meal.

Tomorrow morning we are picking up Caitlin, and intern of Rip's that will be teaching in Masatepe for the next month. We have been given the responsibility to take her under our wing and show her the ropes here so that will be our mission for the next couple of days. Pray for our guidance with Caitlin and our continual journey here in Nicaragua!

I am today what yesterday has made me; tomorrow I shall be changed by today's experiences.
xoxo
Priscilla and Delanie
