When our trip to the mall was over we decided to go on an adventure to try to find the TGI Friday's that we never made it to yesterday. Priscilla used her sixth sense of direction and attempted to find it based on this only. When Delanie spotted it she screamed and gave Priscilla a mild heart attack. We were ecstatic about eating here because it felt like home. It wasn't the best food in the world (because let's admit, it never is) but it made us feel warm and fuzzy inside.
When our bellies were full we drove over to the grocery store for the twelfth time this week. We are hosting a party for the neighborhood kids in Miriam's town tomorrow afternoon and we needed to pick up some supplies. Miriam's mom makes pinatas and she suggested that we throw a party for the kids with games, prizes, treats, and of course, pinatas. We are excited to do this and hope that these children will have a blast and enjoy themselves because sometimes it is difficult for kids to be kids here in Nicaragua with all the pressure a lot of them have to live with.
It was a day of running errands but we got a lot accomplished. We are glad that today was a lot better than yesterday! We knew God would provide us with a wonderful day and here it is! Thanks for all of your prayers and support, guys! We miss you!
I am today what yesterday has made me; tomorrow I shall be changed by today's experiences.
xoxo
Priscilla and Delanie
