Today we went back to El Centro De Fe, Esperanze, Y Amor to finish the hair cuts from yesterday. Before we got to the church/school we picked up our friend Miriam. She wanted to see what we did and came along for the adventure. When we got to the school Delanie started to cut away. She has been working so hard and God will bless her greatly for all that she is doing. In the meanwhile, Priscilla was busy translating and tweezing eyebrows! We practically had our own salon at this joint. The teachers are a riot and they kept us laughing the whole time. They are such hard workers and they are truely like a family their, it's so different from the schools in the states and it's beautiful to see them teach and grow in the Lord at the same time. Even though we worked and never stopped to take a break (which we probably should have) we didn't get to finish all of the hair cuts. We made plans to come back to the school next Tuesday cut three more heads and then that mission will be accomplished!
After we had a delicious lunch of home made tacos we drove Miriam home in the pouring rain. We had a great day as we did yesterday and we are so greatful that we have the opportunity to build relationships with the teachers at this wonderful church/school.
Tomorrow we plan on visiting a brand new mission. Angela connected us with a couple who run something that is close to what an orphanage would be. There are four very young children who have recently been staying there. Our help is needed and tomorrow we are going to visit and meet everyone. Please pray for this new opportunity!
I am today what yesterday has made me; tomorrow I shall be changed by today's experiences.
xoxo
Priscilla and Delanie
