Sandinistas!

Today was not a very exciting day. As was said in the blog from yesterday, today is the annual Sandinista gathering in Managua. It isn't a very safe time for Americans to be out and after we asked our neighbors if they were staying in and they said yes, we decided it would be best for us to stay in as well. So, we were cooped up in the house all day long. We hear tomorrow won't be as crazy so we are still planning on going to Masatepe to finish the hair cuts we promised.

Today consisted of...
1. Waking up at noon because we stayed up late...again.
2. Eating waffles.
3. Working out.
4. Taking showers.
5. Talking to family/friends on Skype
6. Eating Keydi's delicious food.
7. Blogging.

Told you it wasn't very exciting. Tomorrow we will have a better blog, promise. See, you can breath out a sigh of relief, the Sandinistas did not get us. Although we did hear gun shots and helicopters from outside our windows all day! This place is so insane!!! We love it.

I am today what yesterday has made me; tomorrow I shall be changed by today's experiences.
xoxo
