Costaraguans

Yesterday was quite a day, we did a lot with our new guests and it got too late to blog, get over it. Our first mission of the day was to pick up our three guests, Mary Katherine (MK), Rusty (Delanie's boyfriend), and Paul (Rusty's brother). We drove to the Ticabus station in the morning and waited anxiously. MK was going to arrive at the bus station first and we did not know what she looked like, so we made a sign to find our new friend. After putting the sign in everyone's face we finally found her! She is super sweet. She goes to the same school as Paul in Costa Rica. Next were the boys. Rusty and Paul arrived shortly after MK and Delanie was on cloud 9 to be with her boyfriend again. MK introduced us to her friends Hannah and Adam who said they were going to a town in Nica via bus but the ride to get to the other bus station was going to be difficult. Priscilla knew where the station was offered to drive them there. We were very happy to be united with fellow gypsies.

The bus station where Hannah and Adam were getting dropped off at was located inside of a market. As Priscilla drove in to the parking lot she hit a taxi. Yes, this is true folks. It wasn't bad at all and the woman who owned the taxi was very nice and understanding. After agreeing that getting the police involved would not be much fun, Priscilla paid the lady money to replace her broken light and the problem was solved. Phew! When that ordeal was over the whole lot of us walked through the market in search of the bus station. We found the station and bid farewell to our friends and sent them on their way.

Lunch at the mall was the next step in our day. We went to a restaurant that is similar to what we know in the states as Buffalo Wild Wings. We got a chance to talk to Rusty, Paul, and MK about their travels and adventures in Costa Rica. We compared Costa and Nica and had a great time unwinding from the busy morning.

After eating we came home to let our guests rest. They loved our home and especially our hammocks. We all spent a lazy afternoon chatting away. Cailtlin made everyone a delicious dinner of chicken, noodles, and vegetables. When we were done eating we drove Caitlin to Masatepe so that she could be well rested to teach this week. We hope to see her sometime soon because she has definitely become a lifelong friend! We are pumped about having guests in our house and we will write about our adventures today when we get home!

I am today what yesterday has made me; tomorrow I shall be changed by today's experiences.
xoxo
