Back To The Market

Today we went to the market for Caitlin to experience some more of Nicaragua. Priscilla and Delanie have been to the market a million times but we were pumped to show Caitlin a legit market experience. We have found our way to the Wembis market so that's the one we ended up in. Our friend Keydi was already at our house this morning so we invited her to come along.

Caitlin loved the experience at the market and may have spent more money than she wanted to! She learned how to bargain and appreciate all of the wonderful hand made items that the markets have to offer. Shopping takes a lot out of a girl, so we left after three hours. I think we are also pooped from all that has happened in the past week.

We are now at home and just ate a delicious home cooked meal made by wonderful Keydi. We enjoyed our day and are incredibly blessed to have met Caitlin. She is definitely our kin and doesn't get freaked out by the weirdness that is Prilanie. In fact, she embraces it and joins along! We know our paths were meant to cross and God wanted us to create this beautiful friendship. Again we ask that you pray for Caitlin's teaching job in Masatepe that starts on Monday. Today was a great day!

  1. Hola (that is the extent of my Spanish) :) - Sounds like you had a wonderful day. So glad you have been able to break Caitlin into the Nicaraguan way. I'm sure she is so relieved to have the two of you to show her the ropes. We will continue to pray for all of you. Have a great Sunday!! Sue and Roger :)
